Pagenib privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Pagenib is a PDF viewer and editor that runs on your computer. It is made by Ghavi (ghavi.ca).

What Pagenib collects

Nothing. Pagenib has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. The developer does not receive your files, your markups, your settings or any information about you.

Your files

The PDF files you open, and everything you add to them, stay on your computer (or wherever you save them). Pagenib never uploads them.

Settings, digital IDs and passwords

Your settings and digital IDs are stored on your computer only. If you choose "Remember password on this computer" when signing, the password is kept by Windows Credential Manager (or the macOS Keychain) on that computer, never in a file and never sent anywhere.

Update check

About once a day, and whenever you choose Help > Check for Updates, Pagenib downloads a small file from GitHub (github.com) that names the newest version. If you choose to install an update, the installer is downloaded from GitHub too. Like any website, GitHub can see your computer's internet address when this happens; see GitHub's privacy statement. You can switch the daily check off in Help > Check for Updates Automatically.

Error reports

If something goes wrong, Pagenib writes the details to a file on your own computer (error-log.txt in Pagenib's settings folder). It is not sent anywhere.

This website

pagenib.com sets no cookies and has no analytics or tracking. To show the newest version on the Download button, your browser asks GitHub (api.github.com) for the latest release, and the page loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Like any website, those services can see your internet address.
